Andrew Friedman
Andrew founded Bitwreck in 2002 and serves as the company's Managing Director. He is a digital media and entertainment industry expert with nearly 20 years of experience. He provides Bitwreck's clients with deep expertise in product development, technology and project management and strategic planning.
Prior to founding Bitwreck, he served as Vice President of Software Development for Unplugged Games. While there, he designed and led development of MobileStage, a technology framework for multiplayer games on Internet-enabled wireless devices.
Previously, he was Director of Product Development for Uproar (now owned by Vivendi Universal). In that role, he manage development of all major game efforts for Uproar's network of web games, serving more than 10 million unique users each month. He has also served as Director of Technology for online game developer Bottle Rocket, where he oversaw the development of core technology systems and more than two dozen games for clients including Electronic Arts, the National Hockey League, Major League Baseball, HBO, and MTV.
Andrew has a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College where he graduated cum laude and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton Business School.
